After updating and jailbreaking the 3.0, you might experience a few errors with Cydia, ie. Cydia crash, most of the app installed crashing, SBSetting crash when clicking ‘more’ button or iPhone stuck in boot logo after updating the BossPrefs app.
The reason is you need to upgrade Cydia’s Essential to the one compatible to the 3.0. Some user might getting a notification to upgrade Essential when opening up Cydia, while some are not.
If you are not the lucky guy who’s getting the notification, load Cydia, then go to Manage > Sources, then look for Telesphoreo in the list. If you see this line: “Distribution of Unix Software for iPhoneOS”, that means you have the *old* repository.

If you got the old version of Telesphoreo source, there is a quick fix for all that. Just go to Cydia , tap the Sources, Edit and add: apt.saurik.com/cydia-3.7
After that respring and go back to Cydia, you will then getting the notifications to upgrade all needed Essentials. Before updating these Essential, make sure to toggle off your autolock to avoid corrupted installation packages.
